The Corner Bar, at 2224 N Leavitt in the Bucktown Neighborhood of Chicago, plays bags every Sunday at 3:00PM. During football season you are always welcome to help yourself to copious amounts of food – not to mention, the beer here is among the cheapest you will find in the whole city of Chicago. Gameplay usually depends on the number of people who show up – sometimes there are only a handful of regulars simply playing for beers, and sometimes a cuple dozen people show up and someone starts up a bracket and coordinates a cash tournament.

They play with derricksmash.com boards right there on the sidewalk, in front of the bar and beside the weber grill. If you don’t wanna play bags, at least come for the food and drink! Leslie makes a kickass bloody mary, and you’re always given a free Sunday beer. What’s to lose?

Hanson Brothers Tavern, located at 1945 Willow Rd. in Northbrook, IL, has a couple seasonal leagues that meet every Tuesday night at 8:00 PM. Immediately following league play, the cash tournmament begins. The crowd playing here ranges greatly in skill level – some competitive, some social, and some just wasted! The tournmanent is held in their beergarden area, using derricksmash.com boards and bags. Anyone is welcome. It’s cheap, as there are always drink specials on Tuesdays and it is always fun, with the frequent live bands and sports-loving clientele.
